Swoon-worthy low-angst contemporary MM romance

A crunch of gravel grabs my attention, and I turn to see who it is. My eyes spring open, and I peer up, and up some more, as Kieran Kendall steps next to me. “Lit 129?” He’s smiling, tone easygoing. “Name’s Kieran.”

Yasmin is the one to answer. Once she’s shared our names, she asks, “Shall we just grab a seat inside and work out at least the next couple of times we can meet properly?”

I hear the responses, but I’m still reeling from Kieran standing next to me. It’s been just a week since the party. And holy boner, he’s even hotter in the daylight.

As if he can hear me thinking how hot he is, his focus drops. From the widening of his eyes, it’s clear he recognizes me. Just as I’m about to at least attempt a smile, trying to start afresh, his mouth tightens, and I swear he actually grinds his back teeth.

Me, being the special soul I am, shoot one arched and perfectly manicured brow up high. You better believe there’s challenge in that brow lift.

Kieran stares at me for a beat before he turns away, nods, and then follows the group inside.

I follow behind, actively avoiding looking at the basketball player’s ass. It seriously is a crying shame that such a fine specimen of man has the personality of a chair. One with a wonky leg and that’s super uncomfortable on your ass.

I jerk my head back. Thinking about asses is not where I want my mind to go, especially when my traitorous gaze drifts there, admiring the firm globes obvious in his butt-hugging jeans.

When I reach the small table, there’s one seat left between Bobby and Kieran. I sit, doggedly avoiding eye contact with the man on my right.

It is an easy read but don’t start reading it too late at night or you will probably end up with a book hangover. It is very difficult to put down. Sean is a lost wolf. Tour Review, Post & Giveaway: Shudder - Samantha Durante

Reviewer: Bex Rating: 4 out of 5 Fairies Shudder is a strong follow on from Stitch, a book that I thoroughly enjoyed. What I particular enjoyed and thought that the author managed extremely well was the multiple viewpoints that she built in with the narrative. Not only did this allow us extra insight into the characters, but also the varying points of views added lovely depth to the novel. Samantha Durante's craft has improved and developed since book one. On the whole, her writing is tighter and flows that much easier. There were still a few moments within the dialogue that I felt was a little awkward, yet others could easily disagree. I’m just a stickler and very particular with dialogue. Yet again, there’s a fabulous twist that Durante mastered with skill and ease. This one wasn’t quite as much as a shocker as Stitch, but it still successfully made me do a double take just to be certain.
