Nelson creates an array of characters who are armed with a variety of personality traits and strengths. She develops her characters, especially Emelie, the main character in a fascinating way, taking the reader along an intriguing concept for a story. Overall, Night Aberrations, was a thoroughly enjoyable read. It kept me engaged, remained interesting, was fun and sexy while also having elements of darkness to it. A very fascinating paranormal read. At times the story felt a little rushed. The characters developed very fast, and I was, on occasion, left wondering if I'd skipped ahead a few pages. While it had this level of speed, this did not prevent me from enjoying the characters of intriguing plot development. Night Aberrations is definitely a series I will be following.
