From the synopsis, I couldn't wait to get started; it sounded right up my street: vampires, secrets and a budding romance, which for me always makes a great read. The cover is nice, but nothing new to what I would expect of a supernatural romance to be. Nikki Rae's book, Sunshine, is detailed but easy to read. It's more tamed than most books with less adult content than I am use to after reading Laurell H Hamilton and J R Ward which makes it a great book for a first time or young paranormal reader. I enjoyed getting to know the two main characters, Sophie and Myles, throughout the book. Past problems and heartache make you like Sophie more and more. Reviewer: Bex Rating 3 out of 5 The concept of M.M. Shelley's 'The Zombie Story' is original and creative. The world that the author creates is a fascinating place, filled with magic and of course zombies. All of this makes for a pretty cool read, especially for YA readers.

  The Agreement, book two in  Cami Stark's mini series, whilst still just a little too short to really push the series forward at a satisfying rate, was actually much more enjoyable than book one, The Contract.

Okay so first off, my very first thought regarding this book was near on panic. The very first thing that happens is on December 25th, the couple have just suffered a still birth of their baby girl. Now what makes this so painful is that just a year ago on that very day I lost twin boys. I panicked contacted Bex from Bex n’ Books and she said if I don’t want to continue on then to stop there. But I decided to continue on. I have very mixed feelings about this book. The story doesn’t stay with that couple, but instead jumps years ahead to where they have a baby girl basically delivered to them. And THAT is who the entire story is about. I think the author could have just skipped over the entire beginning since it really had no bearing on the later story. The first half o f Debts and Druids , I felt confused.  I was jumping around and all over the place.  But about half way through things finally started to piece together.   It is quite an interesting story - Bob's wife has a bit of a nasty habit about overspending and Sarah has a hidden past.  The author kept me turning the pages, after all, the tale is quite interesting and worth the time to check the book out.  That being said, there were a lot of loose ends in the end and I didn't feel completely satisfied with the ending.   It is a quite a good storyline. I just felt there needed to be a bit more in the end.  I won't give much away because I don't want to include spoilers, but there is a big burning question in the end that I wanted answered and it was not.  However, the author's writing style and the tone of the characters kept me engrossed in the storyline and wanting more.  I rate this a 3. Reviewer: Bex V.J Chisholm's concept for her novella, Magick Weaved on a Samhain Eve, is sexy and pretty sassy. The build up to the action, as it were, is fairly well developed, this is a novella after all. The character Alexia is quickly established and we get a clear sense of her character. The events move very quickly up the the pinnacle of the novella, and when we get there unfortunately the story is pretty much over. Considering the very sexy nature of this novella - the concept and the build up - what was somewhat frustrating was that V.J Chisholm didn't fully follow through. The main plot leads us to expect one hot amazing night, yet 'The Night' was lacking. Please do not misunderstand, for a novella of this caliber it's not necessary to heavy and graphic love scenes, yet the characters didn't have enough depth to be able to support itself fully.
