Talula is a lost soul who has adapted her miserable life to accepting her fate and being grateful for the enjoyment she can absorb. Gadin is a confused vampire who has decided not to live as a monster but he becomes enchanted by this lost soul and follows her into trouble. This is a very vague description; however, to give any more would be diluting a fantastic and gripping read.
