My Demonic Ghost by Jacinta Maree Bex's rating: 5 of 5 stars Jacinta Maree offers the reader something that I truly love, Teenage Fiction filled with intrigue, passion and characters that are beautifully crafted and intrinsically developed. It was impossible not to be swept away by the tide of emotion and drama that poured off Jacinta Maree's wonderful pages. As a harsh critique of dialogue, I was so very happy by the author's craft. Katie's Hellion by Lizzy Ford Julia's rating: 4 of 5 stars I have to admit I read this book in one setting! It began a little slowly and at some points it was choppy and a little hard to follow, but that was soon all cleared up. From the time we are introduced to Katie, our heroine, the book takes off at full speed and it is a wonderful ride!! I had to laugh out loud at Katie's introduction scene! It definitely reminded me of a situation I would be in. Little does Katie know her day is about to go from bad to worse! I'm a huge fan of Willow Cross's, so when I heard that a blog tour was coming up, I think I startled her a little with my eagerness. Go figure! The Seven Deadlies, by Katherine Rochholz, is a powerful gripping story that effectively kept me engaged and on edge. We are greeted by the amazing protagonist Kari, a woman with a complex history and future, a Guardian. Kari's character is not one that I easily warmed to, yet I admired her characteristics, her dedication, and her ambition immediately. Her fiery, matter of fact nature was so very refreshing that she was a pleasure to follow. Teamed with her soul mate James, we travel with Kari along a pretty epic and visual journey. A journey thwart with excitement, danger and passion.
