Bex's Review Rating: 4 out of 5  Uncomplicated proved to be an enjoyable and entertaining read. It took me a little while to warm up to the book and the characters, but after four chapters, I settled into the pace. Uncomplicated is more that a sex story. Don't get me wrong, it's a hot and sexy read, but the characters are well-defined and developed. With the strong and very vocal characters, Uncomplicated held its own as a solid novel within the contemporary erotic romance genre. There's was an interesting and entertaining storyline and the dynamics between the two main characters were fabulously funny. The authors have managed to create three-dimensional characters for sure. What immediately piqued my interest and was definitely an element that I enjoyed was the sci-fi genre that this hot and sexy read falls into. This really helped the book have an original concept. Bushman successfully weaves a tale of an exciting rescue mission with deception at every turn, and a whole lot of sexiness thrown into the mix. The plot develops at a sound pace with many highs and lows, creating a fast, enjoyable read. The author's creation of her main character, Captain Faraway Hastings, was particularly successful. She created a strong female lead who I happily cheered for. A thoroughly enjoyable sexy sci-fi fairies.

Appetizers by Ivan Rusilko Bex's rating: 3 of 5 Fairies Appetizer’s, book one in Ivan Rusilko’s series is an enjoyable read. The romance is sweet, yet not overly heavy. It’s classified as erotica but it’s much more sexy romance, rather than hot and heavy. The characters are easy to follow and at times fascinating to read about. We discover a lot about the character Ivan in particular, though I didn’t feel as though I got a true sense of who Jaden was. The author only really scratches the surface with her character. Ivan is absolutely dreamy, although a little too perfect maybe to sit comfortably. The plot develops at a solid pace, and made me laugh and smile at times. It’s definitely as series I’ll be popping on my to-be-read list.
