Release Day Review: A Cold Day in Hell - Sharon Hannaford

Reviewer: Bex Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Fairies Gabi is still a kick-ass character. In many ways, I prefer her even more in book three. She really embraces her talents. What I especially like, is the fact that she's not infallible; it's this more human-like aspect of her character that makes the reader able to empathise with her character.   I love that world that Sharon Hannaford creates. Her descriptive narrative and element of realism in the fantasy world, creates a world that is exciting and vivid. I do enjoy the author's stylistic quirks. It is the author's ability to bring her world to life that successfully captured my attention and drew me in. The cast of secondary characters was extensive. It was fun getting to know several of these characters a little better. This also enabled the story to become more three-dimensional.  For fans of urban fantasy, be sure to continue wit h this amazing series. I cannot wait until the author's next epic instalment.

Paranormal Pumpkin Patch Day Twenty w/ Giveaway - Sharon Hannaford

Her choice of weapons was as considered and unusual as her choice of martial arts training. Her weapon of choice being her sword, Nex, appropriately meaning Death in Latin. -  A Cat's Chance in Hell (#1 Hellcat) by Sharon Hannaford The brilliant Sharon Hannaford is our feature author today for our Paranormal Pumpkin Patch event. This wonderful author is a freakin' genius when it comes to the creation of original urban fantasy. Her Hellcat series keeps getting better and better. Be sure to get prepared for the release of book three next month. Reviewer: Bex Rating: 4 out of 5 Fairies Love ‘old skool’ Anita Blake, the sassy Chloe Neill’s Merit and bad-ass Riley Jenson? Then I have no doubt that you’ll think Gabi is a pretty awesome and equally ruthless heroine and Demon Hunter. In book one of The Hellcat Series, we are thrown into Gabi’s world of danger and constant action. There’s certainly no rest for a Hellcat! Gabi, the protagonist, is not only a pretty a...

Release Day eARC Review: All Hell Breaks Loose (Hellcat #2) by Sharon Hannaford

Reviewer: Bex Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Fairies What's immediately obvious from just the first few chapters of Sharon Hannaford's book two in her Hell Cat series, is that it's action packed drama with wonderfully crafted feisty characters. There is a complete balance between character development, action and romance which Sharon Hannaford handles superbly well. Book two has a direct link to book one which was effectively linked and progresses smoothly. Yet I think what All Hell Breaks Loose achieves much more so than book one, is that real sense of completeness. I was left feeling totally satisfied. All Hell Breaks Loose Develops characters that we were beginning to get to know and some that I may just have swooned over from A Cat's Chance in Hell in much more detail. There was a great level of character progression and roundness. Just as with book one, I really enjoyed following Gabi. Her personality is effectively captured by Sharon Hannaford, and of cours...
