Fallen Desire by N.L. Echeverria Ann's rating: 3 of 5 stars   This book fascinated me with its premise, angels and demons, good and evil, the eternal struggle. The heroine, Lindsay, is a seventeen year old who has been sheltered and protected. She is, in a word, naïve. She has recently moved to a small town, and is just making friends and starting to feel comfortable. Along comes Ethan who is mysterious and moody. There is an instant connection between them, but Ethan holds himself back. Derrick, a friend she has made from school, is also attracted to her, and a love triangle is formed. But Lindsay isn’t who she thinks she is, not exactly. And neither are Derrick or Ethan. Lindsay has a role to fulfill and her destiny is wrapped up with the boys. The ending leaves you wanting more and looking actively for it. However, the first third of the book was confusing, overwritten, convoluted and, well, boring.
