Review: King Hall - Scarlett Dawn

Reviewer: Bex Rating: 5 out of 5 phenomenal fairies! King Hall is an epic new adult paranormal read. It's filled with deep and moving drama, hotness that'll have your toes curling and offers of story of friendship that'll have you desperate for the awesome author to get a move on with book two. Did I enjoy it? Hell, no! I bloody well LOVED this book! I found myself forever second and third guessing with King Hall, and was constantly blown away by the twists and turns. This teamed with the whole array of phenomenally well-rounded and three-dimensional characters that the author Scarlett Dawn creates left me well and truly in love with this series. I loved Lily, the protagonist. I believed in her character and her quest. I actively cheered, laughed and cried for her. Lily, combined with the three Prodigies, help to provide a narrative that is gripping; so much so, I virtually inhaled this book. The book is superbly crafted and pushes forward at a perfect pace ...

ARC Review: The Charmed Fates by Christine Wenrick

Tomorrow is the release day of Christine Wenrick's 'The Charmed Fates', the final installment of her amazing trilogy.  We'd like to say a HUGE congratulations to Christine on the amazing success of her fabulous trilogy. Reviewer: Em Rating: 5/5 Wow, oh wow!! This book  didn’t disappoint me one iota. I opened to the first page to be induced and transported back into the world of Caleb, Olivia, Jax and Gemma. I started to read and couldn’t put the book down. I wasn’t surprised as I had had the same experience with the first two books, the storyline wrapped around me and enfolded me thoroughly taking me on the journey.

The Gryphon Series Feature by Stacey Rourke

Where to start! So yep, I'm a self-confessed addict of everything involving this wonderful series and the Evil Genius Stacey Rourke. Aha! "Evil Genius?" I hear you cry, "Why on earth would such a wonderful author be described in such a manner?" My, oh my, where does one start when tackling such a frigging awesome bloody series with a rock star author to boot! Yep, you got it ... from the beginning! I first stumbled upon Stacey Rourke via Facebook after a bout of pimping from Stacey and her  dedicated  minions, and I think along the way I won my very own ecopy of The Conduit. This was probably about two months before I actually found the time to read it. I just read back my review, and truly wish that I could reread it for the first time all over again. Sometimes, there are those very special books that have the ability to reopen our minds and hearts. One that we could read over and over again. One that we desperately wish we could rediscover for the first t...

Review: Little Orphan Anvil (#1-3) by Joseph Beekman

I loved this series!!! I had to read all of them!!!!  Here is my review for all Three: I must start out with that the development of the characters in these stories is fantastic!  It is what hit me the most out of this trilogy of stories!  This is a fantastic read for anyone who likes YA or Adult Sci-fi and I would recommend to any of my Sci-Fi friends!    The voices of all the characters can be found in these works.  Let me break down the three books a bit: In the first book, it is the religious overtones that I found most interesting buried into the writing. I don’t know if they were intentional or not and that what makes them even better, but they are subtle enough they don’t take away from the story!  Book One really makes you want to dive right into book two!    Now book two is called The Shades of Fate. What can I say that won’t give too much away?  It is a great follow up and there are new characters and an evil...
