Reviewer: Ann I got to the end of this fabulous book and kept trying to turn the page only to realize there were no more pages to turn. Cheryl’s characters feel real and alive. They are accessible and human, even though they aren’t. Exactly human that is. And that makes them even more interesting. I was happily sucked down the rabbit hole and to be honest, I didn’t want to come back up. I could have read another 200 pages about the fascinating culture that Cheryl Davis describes in this novel. It is completely original and fresh. We meet Cora and Viola. Cora is the level-headed and laid back twin, Viola the more flamboyant. The book begins with the girls at home, planning for their summer.
