The characters really come into their own in this series finale, especially Jess. Her growth and reactions are expertly crafted, creating a book and series that should be a must read for paranormal lovers. Emma Mills' descriptive narrative really helps to build the level of suspense in WitchHunt. It was a real struggle not to race ahead to allow my heartbeat to decrease.
