Love was never meant for a man like me until she stumbles into my forest. Isabella Rose, with her jet black hair, mahogany skin, and intoxicating scent, called to me from miles away.

Blade is a beast of a man, a towering presence, a chiseled body, sharp fangs, and he runs with a pack of wolves. Wolves, my father, killed. And I’m willing to trade my life for his.

My Bella…My Enemy…Our Love.

Is it possible that she’s the one to break the curse? That she can feel anything, other than fear, for a man like me?

But the moment I sense enemies lurking to reclaim my Bella, our differences don’t matter because there’s no way I’ll let them harm her. And I’m prepared to fight, hoping the solution isn’t to let her return to the real world leaving me to remain a beast forever.

Blade Mallory
(Inspired by Jason Momoa)

Love Interest: Isabelle Rose Joseph
Age: Late twenties, early thirties
Height: 5’11 (pre-curse)
Weight: 215 (solid muscle pre-curse)
Occupation: Property Developer
Location: Paradise Falls, Alaska
Family: No siblings through his mother. His father has three children with his wife. Blade does not consider him part of his family.
About: Blade returns to Paradise Falls, Alaska, as the illegitimate child, and only son of Wesley Mallory. He wins back a plot of land outside this small town that was once owned by the Mallory family. He plans to turn it into a luxury wildlife resort.
He is wealthy, driven, and controlling. He’s an alpha man, raised in a broken home, and he sees this as the opportunity to reclaim some of the happier times in his life.
But Blade runs into a little problem when he crosses a fae charged with protecting Keyan Forest—a recently privatized forest he purchased adjacent to his resort. He plans to clear the land but we soon see, things don’t go as planned.
Fun Fact: His mother loved Wesley Snipes and named him after Wesley’s iconic role as Blade.
The Jason Factor: To get a “visual” of Blade picture the broad shoulders, towering height, and physical presence of Jason Momoa with the edge of Jason Statham and sprinkle of Luke Evans from Dracula: Untold.

Review: Embraced (Enduring Kiss #4) - C.E. Black

Embraced by C.E. Black Ann's rating: 5 of 5 stars Read as a standalone.  This is a fantastic book. It is an easy read but don’t start reading it too late at night or you will probably end up with a book hangover. It is very difficult to put down. Sean is a lost wolf. The woman he loves has married another man, and he is heartbroken. To relieve his suffering, he decides to get out of town and have a drink or two, then he meets Sarah. Sarah is a business owner of a bakery called Decadent Delights and her life seems to be going just the way she wants…until she meets Sean at the bar. Instantly there is an overwhelming attraction and she takes him home with her. Hot animalistic sex occurs (pun intended since Sean is a werewolf). But Sean leaves after one night. He can’t stay because Sarah is human and humans don’t mate with wolves. Two months later, Sarah has a major surprise and goes looking for Sean. And then the fun really begins. This story has sorrow, angst, anger but als...

Reviewer: Em Rating: 5/5 Wow, oh wow!! This book  didn’t disappoint me one iota. I opened to the first page to be induced and transported back into the world of Caleb, Olivia, Jax and Gemma. I started to read and couldn’t put the book down. I wasn’t surprised as I had had the same experience with the first two books, the storyline wrapped around me and enfolded me thoroughly taking me on the journey.
