Hairstylist, Vicky Hudson, has lived just outside of Altenchester her whole life. Of course she's heard of the Altenburys, who hasn't? They rule the village, own most of it, it’s even named after them.

Vicky is on the verge of fulfilling her lifelong dream of opening her own salon. The only obstacle may be James Altenbury. According to his mother, he is the one who has the power to stop Vicky’s dream from becoming a reality.

Her own parents are supportive yet deeply traditional but Vicky has different ideals. Ones that she starts to question when she becomes the victim of strange visions of people and places she doesn’t know. What is behind them and where do they come from?

Afraid to admit what is really going on, she is finally forced to take them seriously when James is attacked once again, only this time by the very monster from one of her visions. It is only then she realises he is much more than just an Altenbury.

Will they finally succumb to the evil that has been preying on the Altenbury family for generations, or can they hold off the evil, and together finally stop the attacks?

Liz has lived in a lot of places but is originally from Lancashire, England, where most of her books are set.

She started her writing career with an online course and is studying for a creative writing degree, so it was probably inevitable that she would write a novel.

When not writing, Liz can be found curled up with a cup of coffee and a book or walking her dog.

Tomorrow is the release day of Christine Wenrick's 'The Charmed Fates', the final installment of her amazing trilogy.  We'd like to say a HUGE congratulations to Christine on the amazing success of her fabulous trilogy. Reviewer: Em Rating: 5/5 Wow, oh wow!! This book  didn’t disappoint me one iota. I opened to the first page to be induced and transported back into the world of Caleb, Olivia, Jax and Gemma. I started to read and couldn’t put the book down. I wasn’t surprised as I had had the same experience with the first two books, the storyline wrapped around me and enfolded me thoroughly taking me on the journey.

Reviews: Confessions of a Paris Party Girl - Vicki Lesage

Confessions of a Paris Party Girl by Vicki Lesage Lynn's rating: 4 of 5 stars Vicky needed a change from her mid-western life. Well what's a girl to do except move to Paris. After back-packing through Europe during collage breaks she wanted to try living there. Where better way to continue with her love affair with wine. This book was smart, sassy and fun. Trying to live in a new city with basic French, having to make all new friends and still have the time of your life. Everything from finding her apartment the first time to placing adds for meeting friends, Vicki turns it into an adventure. you feel as if you are on the journey with her. She takes you to places most people will never get to see and gives you such a vivid accounting of them you can picture them in your mind. Some of the situations she finds herself in has your giggling out loud. it is such a wonderful accounting of everyday Paris life. The book was one of the better chick lit books I have read in a long...
