AUDIO REVIEW

4 Stars -- Enjoyable and hot read from Cardeno C.

Admittedly, it took me a while to warm up to this story, but when I did, I was swept away in the romance and heat and was eager to watch the story unfold.

Listening to the audio version, the narrator's characterisation was spot on, but the narrative itself was somewhat monotonous. It did put me off at the beginning. However, once the story unfolded fully, the narrator was able to bring the author's words to life making it much easier to be sucked into their world.

At times, I was somewhat frustrated by Jonathon. I like two strong leads and Jonathon, while he showed some semblance of courage at times, he didn't have the strength of character I truly enjoy in romance stories. While it irked me a little, I was able to appreciate his character, and I did enjoy the character dynamics between him and David.

If you're a fan of hot mm romance, be sure to check this one out, but perhaps consider the paperback/e-book rather than the audio.
