Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

You Loved Me At My Darkest is a beautiful albeit devastating story. At numerous times my heart was close to breaking. However, the author also manages to gradually repair the devastation her characters experience in the tension-fuelled events filtered throughout this amazing read.

The world Evie Harper created is very clear with fabulous visuals, so much so, I believed every word. This book deals with some pretty awful harsh realities. I believe Evie Harper executed her story and the situations her characters found themselves in extraordinarily well. The narrative she weaves around her strong, vivid characters was powerful and developed effortlessly.

A moving, gripping story. Stunning.

Confessions of a Paris Party Girl by Vicki Lesage Lynn's rating: 4 of 5 stars Vicky needed a change from her mid-western life. Well what's a girl to do except move to Paris. After back-packing through Europe during collage breaks she wanted to try living there. Where better way to continue with her love affair with wine. This book was smart, sassy and fun. Everything from finding her apartment the first time to placing adds for meeting friends, Vicki turns it into an adventure. you feel as if you are on the journey with her. She takes you to places most people will never get to see and gives you such a vivid accounting of them you can picture them in your mind. Some of the situations she finds herself in has your giggling out loud. it is such a wonderful accounting of everyday Paris life.
