Haunted by a lifetime of bad luck and worse decisions, Luke is tired of running. The police, his past and rival gangs all seem to have a bounty out on his head and he wants out. Unfortunately, Los Hermanos take the saying "Blood in, blood out" very seriously.

Sarah has been watching Luke from the shadows since they were both kids. She had always done what she could to keep him out of trouble without getting directly involved and letting him know that she was there. The time for hiding in the shadows is over. The kind of trouble he has gotten himself into can't be swept away by calling in a favor. The only person she can rely on to help this time is all but a stranger to her who happens to have a knack for running into her at the most inconvenient times.

Makkar is new to the scene and isn't quite sure what is expected of him. He has a new charge that he's not allowed to tell anyone about and it's eating at him. He's a talker by nature. When he meets Sarah, something inside of him just clicks. She's sexy, mysterious, dangerous and best of all; She rides a motorcycle. He can't stay away from her.

Luke has to decide between what's best for him and what's best for those around him. He can't bring himself to lose Sarah again and his new friend Makkar seems just as determined as she is to follow him through to the end.

The very. Bitter. End.

David Michael
David Michael, author of The United Series, is a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, a hater of snow, a lover of Star Trek and has an addiction to coffee that is excessive even for an author.

He lives in Salt Lake City where he is currently majoring in Psychology, working a "big boy" job, and writing full time. He shares a living space with his best friend, idolizes his mother, and has a strange knack for making friends with people on the other side of the planet instead of his own back yard.

Review: Embraced (Enduring Kiss #4) - C.E. Black

Embraced by C.E. Black Ann's rating: 5 of 5 stars Read as a standalone.  This is a fantastic book. It is an easy read but don’t start reading it too late at night or you will probably end up with a book hangover. It is very difficult to put down. Sean is a lost wolf. The woman he loves has married another man, and he is heartbroken. To relieve his suffering, he decides to get out of town and have a drink or two, then he meets Sarah. Sarah is a business owner of a bakery called Decadent Delights and her life seems to be going just the way she wants…until she meets Sean at the bar. Instantly there is an overwhelming attraction and she takes him home with her. Hot animalistic sex occurs (pun intended since Sean is a werewolf). But Sean leaves after one night. He can’t stay because Sarah is human and humans don’t mate with wolves. Two months later, Sarah has a major surprise and goes looking for Sean. And then the fun really begins. This story has sorrow, angst, anger but als...

ARC Review: The Charmed Fates by Christine Wenrick

Tomorrow is the release day of Christine Wenrick's 'The Charmed Fates', the final installment of her amazing trilogy.  We'd like to say a HUGE congratulations to Christine on the amazing success of her fabulous trilogy. Reviewer: Em Rating: 5/5 Wow, oh wow!! This book  didn’t disappoint me one iota. I opened to the first page to be induced and transported back into the world of Caleb, Olivia, Jax and Gemma. I started to read and couldn’t put the book down. I wasn’t surprised as I had had the same experience with the first two books, the storyline wrapped around me and enfolded me thoroughly taking me on the journey.
