Just when she thinks she’s found her way, she unknowingly witnesses a brutal murder sanctioned by a local crime boss.

Colt Christianson, homicide detective for the Fort Worth Police Department, is known for his dedication and willingness to do whatever necessary to solve the crime. Still grieving for his late partner, Colt is called to investigate a murder that has connections to his partner’s death.

When the killers attempt to silence the only witness, the detective switches roles to become her protector. Together they will be forced to fight two battles, one against the killers and one against their burgeoning mutual attraction.

I’ve always said that I’ve got the two best jobs in the world, mother and teacher. Now I can add a third, romance author. My husband, Randy, and I live in Texas with our two teenagers, Jessie & Nate.

When I’m not teaching or writing, you can bet I’ve got my nose in a book. I’ve got a serious addiction to reading all genres of romance novels. Becoming an author is a dream come true.

ARC Review: The Charmed Fates by Christine Wenrick

Tomorrow is the release day of Christine Wenrick's 'The Charmed Fates', the final installment of her amazing trilogy.  We'd like to say a HUGE congratulations to Christine on the amazing success of her fabulous trilogy. Reviewer: Em Rating: 5/5 Wow, oh wow!! This book  didn’t disappoint me one iota. I opened to the first page to be induced and transported back into the world of Caleb, Olivia, Jax and Gemma. I started to read and couldn’t put the book down. I wasn’t surprised as I had had the same experience with the first two books, the storyline wrapped around me and enfolded me thoroughly taking me on the journey.

Reviews: Confessions of a Paris Party Girl - Vicki Lesage

Confessions of a Paris Party Girl by Vicki Lesage Lynn's rating: 4 of 5 stars Vicky needed a change from her mid-western life. Well what's a girl to do except move to Paris. After back-packing through Europe during collage breaks she wanted to try living there. Where better way to continue with her love affair with wine. This book was smart, sassy and fun. Trying to live in a new city with basic French, having to make all new friends and still have the time of your life. Everything from finding her apartment the first time to placing adds for meeting friends, Vicki turns it into an adventure. you feel as if you are on the journey with her. She takes you to places most people will never get to see and gives you such a vivid accounting of them you can picture them in your mind. Some of the situations she finds herself in has your giggling out loud. it is such a wonderful accounting of everyday Paris life. The book was one of the better chick lit books I have read in a long...
