Review: Coffee and Cockpits - Jade Hart

Reviewer: Bex
Rating: 4 out of 5 Fairies

Coffee and Cockpits by Jade Hart is a fabulous romance, filled with intrigue, endearing romance and steaming hotness, oh and of course a twist that completely threw and left me doing a double take and wanting to email the author straight the way - I totally did not see that coming. Well played, Jade Hart. Well played indeed!

The main characters Nina and Liam are fun and endearing characters to follow. The author has provided enough backstory that really helps to make them three-dimensional. As a result, it's impossible not to become engrossed in their story and actively cheer for them.

Throw in the mix of fabulous secondary characters and we're left with a story that has the potential for a kickass series, and a book that left me feeling warm and fuzzy. Just what I expect and like about this sort of read.

If you like stories with drama, romance, steamy hotness and appreciate an uber-awesome twist, then be sure to add Coffee and Cockpits to the very top of your reading pile.

A New Adult Contemporary Romance, featuring Nina Poppins, a flight attendant, who can’t decide if she wants the sexy co-pilot or the yummy engineer… and ends up having both.
***
By day, Nina Poppins is a professional flight attendant, who lives to travel, and isn’t afraid to chase her dreams. By night, she’s an award winning salsa dancer who wears sexy corsets and garter belts. She keeps her two lives separate, and none of her colleagues suspect that cool, demure Nina has a hot, spicy side.

Liam Mikin is a co-pilot who can get any air-hostess he wants with one blazing look of his blue eyes. But for some reason he can’t get Nina. He senses there’s more to her beneath the professional cool shell, and he’s determined to find out what it is.

Nikolai Rivers is an aircraft engineer who can dance as well as Nina and enjoys getting hot and heavy with her on the dance floor. But frustration chafes him at being held at arm’s length. However, his opportunity to break her exterior comes when an airplane malfunctions on a flight to Samoa, stranding all the crew on the Pacific island indefinitely.

Liam and Nikolai see each other as a challenge and start a race to be the first to break Nina’s aloofness, but what they didn’t count on was falling for her, or worse, having to share….

Review: Embraced (Enduring Kiss #4) - C.E. Black

Embraced by C.E. Black Ann's rating: 5 of 5 stars Read as a standalone.  This is a fantastic book. It is an easy read but don’t start reading it too late at night or you will probably end up with a book hangover. It is very difficult to put down. Sean is a lost wolf. The woman he loves has married another man, and he is heartbroken. To relieve his suffering, he decides to get out of town and have a drink or two, then he meets Sarah. Sarah is a business owner of a bakery called Decadent Delights and her life seems to be going just the way she wants…until she meets Sean at the bar. Instantly there is an overwhelming attraction and she takes him home with her. Hot animalistic sex occurs (pun intended since Sean is a werewolf). But Sean leaves after one night. He can’t stay because Sarah is human and humans don’t mate with wolves. Two months later, Sarah has a major surprise and goes looking for Sean. And then the fun really begins. This story has sorrow, angst, anger but als...

Tomorrow is the release day of Christine Wenrick's 'The Charmed Fates', the final installment of her amazing trilogy.  We'd like to say a HUGE congratulations to Christine on the amazing success of her fabulous trilogy. Reviewer: Em Rating: 5/5 Wow, oh wow!! This book  didn’t disappoint me one iota. I opened to the first page to be induced and transported back into the world of Caleb, Olivia, Jax and Gemma. I started to read and couldn’t put the book down. I wasn’t surprised as I had had the same experience with the first two books, the storyline wrapped around me and enfolded me thoroughly taking me on the journey.
