“Sorry, I didn’t mean to…interrupt.” I stuttered, looking anywhere but at him.

The woman, who I assumed was responsible for his nearly nude state, had appeared at some point and was standing behind him. Her chest pressed against his back and her eyes screamed at me to get lost, ‘he’s mine.’

Pulling myself out of my thoughts, I recognized her from around town, Katie. She was a grade above me in high school, I remembered her as one of the annoyingly popular girls.

“It’s not a problem, sweetheart. Did you need something?” He seemed oblivious to the woman rubbing her hands up and down his forearms, kissing the back of his neck. He raised his shoulder where her lips lingered, forcing her face away.

She frowned looking both embarrassed and annoyed.

His gaze never strayed from mine but his usual smirk slowly crept over his luscious lips. No, not luscious!

“Hmm?” I asked. All I could see was the perfect stubble surrounding his chiseled jaw and plump, kissable lips. Think, Cassandra, think.

Why was this so hard? I never had this reaction to a man before.

I shook my head again. “Right, I made these for you and Oliver.” Finally, something that pulled me back to reality, Oliver. His son. The son that needed me to stay off—no—away from his father.

I am happily married to my husband of five years, have three wonderful children and a beautiful feline companion that keeps me company during late night writing binges.

My love of reading has been life long but it was in early 2012 when I was inspired to finally put pen to paper and write my first story. Since then I haven't been able to stop, fueled purely by my passion to write a story and create characters that readers will enjoy.

New Adult romances are my go to books to read as well as to write. They are young, fresh and full of hope. What's not to love!

It is an easy read but don’t start reading it too late at night or you will probably end up with a book hangover. It is very difficult to put down. Sean is a lost wolf. Reviewer: Bex Rating: 4 out of 5 Fairies Shudder is a strong follow on from Stitch, a book that I thoroughly enjoyed. What I particular enjoyed and thought that the author managed extremely well was the multiple viewpoints that she built in with the narrative. Not only did this allow us extra insight into the characters, but also the varying points of views added lovely depth to the novel. Samantha Durante's craft has improved and developed since book one. On the whole, her writing is tighter and flows that much easier. There were still a few moments within the dialogue that I felt was a little awkward, yet others could easily disagree. I’m just a stickler and very particular with dialogue. Yet again, there’s a fabulous twist that Durante mastered with skill and ease. This one wasn’t quite as much as a shocker as Stitch, but it still successfully made me do a double take just to be certain.
