There's always time to spend drooling over werewolves. I have a major soft spot for shifters, and Dianna Hardy has quickly become one of my firm favourites in creating HOT-AS-SIN shifters that are sure to get your body temperature soaring. Meet the werewolves of Dianna Hardy's Eye of the Storm series!
Name: Taylor Harper
Age: thirty-three
Dark brown hair, longish at the front
Green eyes.
5 ft and 9 inches
Slim, but very toned.
Taylor is one of three (or four) main male characters. Lydia has a sudden reaction to Taylor as soon as she sees him. I wanted to write a parallel between how she responds in her hot, sex dreams and how she responds in real life. This parallel and her reaction to Taylor is the very first clue that nothing is going to be simple or standard in this series! Taylor needed to be written as the expression of humanity. He is the indicator that the human mind can still exist among a more animal-led society. Taylor’s a honey, but you’ll have to read it for yourself ;)
We meet Taylor in book one, Releasing The Wolf, and get to know much more about him in book two, Cry Of The Wolf.
More about Taylor:
(May contain SPOILERS for book one.)
The odds are one in ten thousand that a werewolf bite on a full moon can turn a man into a wolf. Taylor, at thirty-three, became that one in ten thousand. Unfortunately, it couldn't have happened to a nicer, more caring, sensitive man. Since being rescued by Lawrence and Ryan, for the past eight months he has been battling with the beast inside him, refusing to "service" the other females and turning away from finding his mate altogether - he would rather die than take a mate ... until Lydia. But letting go of his past has never been so hard.
The Eye Of The Storm series is an erotic, paranormal fantasy about werewolves, and when animal urges battle with the human higher mind. It’s about lust and control, and sorrow and change, but also with a hefty plot that takes all of these themes through two or three mythological structures.

Thank you for hosting this stop.
ReplyDeleteI love shifters, witches, faeries, etc... anything paranormal. Add romance and I'm lost to the real world.
This series sounds really good can't wait to read it :)
ReplyDeleteI love shifters; to read about one struggling with his human brain versus his "shifter" brain would be a definite change. What a struggle to find a compromise between the confining morals of modern mankind and the overwhelming freedom of shifter life. Of course, once he selects a mate, it's rather final, unlike traditional "human" society with serialized marriages. There is no divorce in shifter life. Yes, he has some serious adaptations ahead. michelle_willms@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI would love to read the series.
