Review & Giveaway(18+): Her Master's Kiss by Vivien Sparx

Her Master's Kiss by Vivien Sparx
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Reviewer: Bex
Rating 3.5 of 5 stars

Vivien Sparx has successfully crafted a novella with a fresh and realistic insight into the world of BDSM. Whilst there is a strong element of romance in Her Master's Kiss, there was no ridiculous drama or unrealistic storyline that are now unfortunately associated with this genre. This was a welcome reprieve and refreshing.

The characters are fairly well rounded, enough to make me intrigued by their actions and reactions, and we get some insight into their histories and what drives them and motivates them. Renee is an interesting character. I enjoyed how Vivien challenged her character and allowed her character to grow. I was also pleasantly surprised by Stefan. He was an interesting character to follow. I also enjoyed how the author got into his head.

Her Master's Kiss was not quite as steamy as I was hoping for or expecting; however, the build up and creation of tension was well created and developed.

If you are looking for a novella with real emotion, a touch of romance and a glance into the world of BDSM, be sure to check out Her Master's Kiss. I will definitely be reading book two in this series.

Disclaimer: An ecopy of this book was provided by the author in exchange for an HONEST and not necessarily positive review.
Goodreads Synopsis
When Renee decides the only way she can save her relationship with a hurtful boyfriend is to become submissive, she enlists the expertise of a dark and brooding master.
However, Renee's training soon has her falling for master Stefan, and as she becomes immersed in the spellbinding erotic world of domination, Renee realizes she's infatuated with a man who remains mysteriously out of reach; a man who refuses to be loved.
Behind Stefan's cold, remote facade is a man dealing with his own past and his own pain.
'Her Master's Kiss' is an intense emotional romance story filled with passion, conflict and steamy erotica!
A story of over 20,000 words!

Reviews: Confessions of a Paris Party Girl - Vicki Lesage

Confessions of a Paris Party Girl by Vicki Lesage Lynn's rating: 4 of 5 stars Vicky needed a change from her mid-western life. Well what's a girl to do except move to Paris. After back-packing through Europe during collage breaks she wanted to try living there. Where better way to continue with her love affair with wine. This book was smart, sassy and fun. Trying to live in a new city with basic French, having to make all new friends and still have the time of your life. Everything from finding her apartment the first time to placing adds for meeting friends, Vicki turns it into an adventure. you feel as if you are on the journey with her. She takes you to places most people will never get to see and gives you such a vivid accounting of them you can picture them in your mind. Some of the situations she finds herself in has your giggling out loud. it is such a wonderful accounting of everyday Paris life.
