Crimson Flames ,by Ashley Robertson, is a strong follow up to Crimson Groves. From the onset of the book, we are greeted by fast-paced action, interesting character development and a rush of drama and tension that kept me absorbed.

Abby, the main protagonist, I liked even more in this book. Having a clearer understanding of her history and her life enabled me to follow her character more easily. The author has created one hell of a strong main character with Abby.

I thoroughly enjoyed the unexpected development of Abby’s relationship with Trace. There were moments that their relationship sizzled off the page. This relationship really helped Abby’s character grow and develop the way that it did.

Ashley Robertson’s craft and plot development was skilfully weaved and created. There were many unexpected moments that had me gasping for breath and wondering what on earth the author had in store for her characters. Yet, the author expertly worked her magic and ensured there was just enough twists and turns, just enough drama and tension, and the perfect amount of romance to make me desperate to get my hands on the next instalment.

A highly recommended read from Bex 'n' Books for Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance lovers.

I opened to the first page to be induced and transported back into the world of Caleb, Olivia, Jax and Gemma. I started to read and couldn’t put the book down. I wasn’t surprised as I had had the same experience with the first two books, the storyline wrapped around me and enfolded me thoroughly taking me on the journey.
