Thunderstorm, by J.M Schroder, is an action packed, romance driven, sister-bonding urban fantasy. The array of characters that J.M has created is pretty impressive. There really is an eclectic mix of strong female characters teamed with the collection of drool worthy dragon shifters. Plus the baddies are pretty terrifying too which is also a bonus.
The passion between the characters is almost palpable, making Thunderstorm a hot and steamy 18+ read. Throughout the entire book, there were so many pivotal moments that really engaged me. The pain and suspense experienced by the characters was well-crafted and evoked a good level of empathy from me.
I really enjoyed the concept and storyline of this book. There was a lot of originality to both the story's development and its characters.
Whilst overall, I really enjoyed the progress and development of Thunderstorm, the editing, however, had several flaws which at times was a little distracting.
If you are looking for a fiery urban fantasy with a heavy layer of PNR, then be sure to check out the very enjoyable Thunderstorm by J.M Schroder.

28, 2012 I was curious, when I read the blurb, as to how this spin would be a successful PNR, but Ms. Schroder makes it work. There are some typographical errors, but I was so engrossed in the story that it didn't really matter much. The heroine, Dika, grows throughout the story and the hero, Chrome Jai, is protective and strong... I can't wait to read the next book. I didn't get enough of the Daughters... This wasn't at all what I'd expected. I ADORE Dika! She grows and as she learns who/what she is, I felt like I, the reader, was right there with her.
I would also, RIGHT NOW, like to ask Santa to add one Chrome Jai to my Christmas list!
This story is truly an original and honestly, I'm not sure five stars is even enough to rate it! TEN STARS wouldn't get us half way there!

Biography
Jennie Schroder lives with her husband and three amazing and energetic children in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She studies Court Reporting at Sumner College in Portland, Oregon. Her love of writing took off in her junior high school years in Mrs. Eckert’s Creative Writing Class. Now she is sharing the stories in her head with everyone because there are way too many to keep to herself. If not writing, seeking out readers, interacting and thanking her amazing supporters, or daydreaming about her next story or being a very exhausted mother to 2 young boys and a teenage daughter, Jennie loves most to be playing with her family – indoors and out and reading.
