Review: The Collector (The Overseers #1) by Elizabeth Morgan

Let me start by saying what wonderful story; I loved this book! It's approximately 114 pages long, but it was lovely, a perfect read for a couple of quiet hours in the afternoon.

The story and characters are beautifully written and Kale is gorgeous! Even though the the book is short, it doesn't feel empty and the story isn't rushed. The characters and plot are well-rounded and believable. The book is full of emotion and deals with life, death, pain and love. Ms Morgan has given us a peek into a world which I would love to know more about.

This book I feel is an introduction to something bigger and better and I really hope we get to read more about the world of Kale and his beginnings and the other characters that were touched on. This could well be the launch of a fantastic series which I would definitely want to read.

The only downside to this book is that it wasn't longer - I want more! I didn't want it to end. The Collector is definitely a page turner - you will not put it down. This book deserves no less than 5 stars I really enjoyed it, just what I needed. Well done Ms Morgan what a star you are!

Goodreads Synopsis
After watching millions die, those human emotions are starting to take effect. Instead of collecting his next spirit from the car accident that is about to kill her, Kale saves her life. His punishment for ruining fate... is mortality.

Samantha hasn't been able to stop thinking about her beautiful hero. So when she stumbles across him, lying in a hospital bed with a small case of amnesia, she is more than happy to offer him her help. It's the least she can do to re-pay the man who saved her life.

Though Samantha soon learns that Kale isn't the guardian angel she thought he was, not to mention how far he has fallen to earn a place in her heart.
