Garrett wants is to head off to college and make those fun, yet
ill-advised, choices college kids are known for. And maybe to spend

Life isn’t always fair for a superhero, but at least she doesn’t have to do it alone. With her brother and sister as sidekicks, they alternate between saving lives and getting on each others’ nerves. Together the trio encounters unspeakable odds, mystical forces and comes face-to-face with an image that will haunt them forever—their grandmother in a leopard print bikini.
Okay, little side note here. If a psychopathic killer asks if you want to see a trick, say no. That’s the smart thing to do. I, on the other hand, responded, “Bring it.”

I started The Conduit with an equal mixture of dread and anticipation, both because of the amazing reviews that have been previously left. I hoped desperately that I wouldn't be the one person who didn't like this novel. And with relief and a little jump, teamed with a loud *hurray*, I can positively and absolutely say that I am now officially one of Stacey's minions. The Conduit is a friggin' awesome YA novel!
The characters that she created, from the mains to the secondaries, are very well-crafted and all have very distinctive roles and personalities. I was happy to discover Stacey's signature wit evident throughout this novel, especially in Celeste's character.
There was not a moment that I felt the need to skim over the dialogue or the narrative. Immediately and throughout, I was
impressed with Stacey's style and creative flair and energy; there's a
definite buzz to her writing that effectively captured my attention and
kept me well and truly hooked.
A superb YA fantasy novel, that adults will most definitely enjoy too. Super job Stacey and an impressive 5 stars!
