Review: Forget Me Not by Belinda Boring

Goodreads Synopsis
Forget Me Not (Mystic Wolves #2) by Belinda Boring
Only a fool would think they could steal from a werewolf …

Anticipating a quiet night alone with the man she loves, Darcy’s world is sent into a spin with the arrival of someone from the past—Mason’s. She is further shocked by the intruder’s claim she may not even be the true mate of the Mystic Wolves Alpha. Accusations start to fly, leading to her new enemy being granted asylum, and this is just the beginning of trouble.

Relying on the reassurances of Mason and the support of her friends and Pack, Darcy soon falls under attack. Suspicions are raised, and with no other choice, she must flee with Devlin to safety where hopefully they can untangle the lies hidden behind the use of magic. Time is quickly ticking away, leading to a showdown where everything is on the line.

They need to uncover the truth before it’s too late, or once again, Darcy will need to fight to hold onto her dreams.

Book two in Belinda Boring's Mystic Wolves series continues the story between Darcy and Mason. This lovely couple, who I cheered for in book one - The Mystic Wolves, continue to face dramas, dilemas and a continued build up of sexual tension, that's hot enough just to make any reader pop!

Almost immediately, Darcy and Mason are faced with quite a dramatic challenge to their much anticipated mating. It is this challenge that continues to weave twists, turns and tension throughout the book. Belinda Boring successfully manages to capture the protagonists' heart felt struggles, especially that of Darcy's.

What was particularly enjoyable about Forget Me Not was the continued inclusion and development of the swoon-worthy Devlin and the extremely amusing and entertaining Vlad. It was the description of these two characters in particular that were vividly captured and entertaining.

The book at times was a little simplistic in language and plot development, although this did not take away my appreciation or like of the book. I am a fan of Belinda Boring and do like her writing style.

I am excited to see how the dramatic ending, that had me groaning out loud, develops. There is still so much potential for this series and the wonderful characters that Belinda has created.
A lovely 4 stars!

Reviews: Confessions of a Paris Party Girl - Vicki Lesage

Confessions of a Paris Party Girl by Vicki Lesage Lynn's rating: 4 of 5 stars Vicky needed a change from her mid-western life. Well what's a girl to do except move to Paris. After back-packing through Europe during collage breaks she wanted to try living there. Where better way to continue with her love affair with wine. This book was smart, sassy and fun. Trying to live in a new city with basic French, having to make all new friends and still have the time of your life. Everything from finding her apartment the first time to placing adds for meeting friends, Vicki turns it into an adventure. you feel as if you are on the journey with her. She takes you to places most people will never get to see and gives you such a vivid accounting of them you can picture them in your mind. Some of the situations she finds herself in has your giggling out loud. it is such a wonderful accounting of everyday Paris life. The book was one of the better chick lit books I have read in a long...
