Vodka Warrior by Mickey J. Corrigan Nicole's rating: 4 of 5 stars This may story might only be 55 pages long give or take but Mickey Corrigan manages to pack a hefty punch of hilarity and wit into that short space. It was such a different story to read, a story where I wasn’t entirely sure I liked or could connect to Theresa our self-proclaimed vodka warrior for reasons I won’t go into since it’s a short story and would probably detract from the enjoyment of reading this for yourself but suffice to say by the end of it I pitied her, I disliked her, I envied her and I bloomin’ loved her, all at the same time. Heat Reborn by Karida Clarke Tina's rating: 5 of 5 stars This is the second book in this series. Like the first book, this one is not stop action from the beginning to the end. I knew we would get to learn more about the other characters and in this one we learn about Hadia the witch and Samuel who is a Phoenix warrior. Once together these two really light up the story and you can feel the heat from the chemistry between them. We learn more about the depth of this growing storyline this author is setting up. More creatures and more twist are coming our way which each book in this series. Love how twisted this story is becoming. What will this author bring out next in the next book of this incredible series. I love seeing all the characters from the first book in this one too. This paranormal story isn't like any other you will find or read. It has a uniqueness that keeps you glued to every page. Can't wait until the next story comes out.
