A service dedicated to the fabulous authors in the indie community. As you all know, I'm passionate about reading, in addition to supporting the author community; a community that I feel very privileged to be a part of. As such, over the last few years in particular, I have spent more time studying and perfecting my skills as an editor. This is in addition to my BA(Hons) Literature and English. Today we actually have two lovely reviews for this book , The Charmed , by Christine Wenrick, one by the lovely Justine and another by first time reviewer to Bex 'n' Books, Em. The Charmed, by Christine Wenrick, is easily the best book I have read in months!  I enjoyed EVERY twist and turn as the author seamlessly took me from chapter to chapter. And though at times I got what I call the 'twilight tingles', this is NOT that book. In the time of twenty-five chapters, I found myself more than once crying tears of heart break, throwing fists of fury, and laughing out loud to the point my dog looked at me as though I was disturbed. So what does that leave us with? Yes the ending, which only left me scrambling for the second book to this trilogy. Christmas is Cancelled is an absorbing contemporary romance. I was immediately captivated by the characters, both by Tilly and Dean. Tilly, the female protagonist, especially piqued my interest. She was so easy to relate to, her emotions and reactions were very realistic, yet they embraced the romantic genre beautifully. This is a testament to the author, Aurelia B Rowl’s, lovely style of writing; it was undemanding yet engaging.  The events that unfurl in this Christmas themed book were exciting and moving. Tilly embodies many women’s fears, yet she has a subtle strength to her character, that she gradually embraces more as the storyline progresses. Likewise the character Dean is appropriately dreamy with a mysterious past that we’re clambering to discover. As their relationship develops and the storyline advances, so does the heat.
