Cover Reveals: Oceans of Red V1 & V2 by Willow Cross

So very excited - again - this time because the fabulous Willow Cross has only gone and had the covers for Oceans of Red Volumes One & Two redesigned. She never stops that woman! Seriously! So be prepared to jump up and down and squeal just a little or a lot if you prefer and check out these stunning covers! Oceans of Red Vol One This is an amazing novella, filled with action, kick-ass characters and a fantastic level of intrigue.  I was immediately drawn to the main characters. I loved their attitudes, their dedication to their mission and their relationships. Remy’s character especially was easy to follow; she’s a really likeable strong character, who is easily comparable to the many strong paranormal heroines in the genre. The storyline concept is clever and is extremely well crafted and developed. I’ve read a lot of demon based stories lately, and this is so very different, so very clever. What’s more, I can’t believe it’s still FREE! After read...

The Gryphon Series Feature by Stacey Rourke

Where to start! So yep, I'm a self-confessed addict of everything involving this wonderful series and the Evil Genius Stacey Rourke. Aha! "Evil Genius?" I hear you cry, "Why on earth would such a wonderful author be described in such a manner?" My, oh my, where does one start when tackling such a frigging awesome bloody series with a rock star author to boot! Yep, you got it ... from the beginning! I first stumbled upon Stacey Rourke via Facebook after a bout of pimping from Stacey and her  dedicated  minions, and I think along the way I won my very own ecopy of The Conduit. This was probably about two months before I actually found the time to read it. I just read back my review, and truly wish that I could reread it for the first time all over again. Sometimes, there are those very special books that have the ability to reopen our minds and hearts. One that we could read over and over again. One that we desperately wish we could rediscover for the first t...

Review: Wolf Sirens #1: Forbidden: Discover the Legend by Tina Smith

Wolf Sirens: Forbidden by Tina Smith is an enjoyable YA read. Reminding me a little of The Secret Circle and a little of Twilight, Wolf Sirens: Forbidden focus on a wolf pack, a popular group of high school teenagers who all happen to be able to shapeshift into werewolves. I liked this connection. It immediately made me feel comfortable with the read, and I certainly enjoyed the focus on werewolves. There are a variety of twists that were completely unexpected and generally the pace was fast and character development was fitting. The array of characters developed by Tina Smith were fun to read and varied. I think she captured her characters' personalities and relationships well. The main character Lila really develops and grows as the book progresses, and most importantly is a likeable character. There are a couple of love triangles that unravel in Wolf Sirens: Forbidden. Tina Smith captured the tension effectively and pushed her characters which I liked. I never like things ...

ARC Review & Giveaway: Endless Night (Dylan Hart #2) by RM Gilmore

RM Gilmore has surpassed herself in the second installment of her Dylan Hart Series. Endless Night is somehow even edgier, more entertaining and most definitely side-splitting, tea-spitting funnier than book one, The Scene. I pretty much had a girl crush on Dylan Hart after being blown away by her foul-mouth, no-nonsense take on life and the paranormal in book one. In Endless Night, RM Gilmore takes Dylan on a new adventure, one that has her whole belief system spinning. The author successfully and impressively leads us into a fascinating world deep in the heart of New Orleans, where we witness Dylan Hart creating enemies, getting hot and heavy, and pushing her relationships that were established in book one to the extreme. There was not a moment that I was not completely and utterly engrossed in the storyline. The pace was phenomenally fast, with my heart kept pounding throughout the story; it was truly gripping. RM Gilmore's fantastic first person narrative allows the reade...
