Review: Forgotten by You by Carlie Sexton

Crystal Earl's Rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is such a sweet quick read. I got the "feels" several times. Charlie and Mitch have been together for 7 years when he unexpectedly loses his memory. What happens while he's trying to recover just breaks your heart. You'll crave for these two characters to find their way back to the love they very obviously have for one another. While at the same time you can't help but worry for them and all of the negative outside forces and influences that are wrecking havoc in their lives.

Finishing this book in one day, the story line was spot on with keeping me interested in Charlie and Mitch. While at the same time I was wondering what the stories of all the other characters were. I'll be adding more of Carlie Sexton's books to my TBR. I've definitely been won over.

Overall I give Forgotten by You 4 glittering stars and Carlie Sexton one new fan!

Some decisions in life seem wonderful and wise. For Charlie Andrews and Mitch Hawkins, who have been blissfully happy together for seven years, nothing could have prepared them for that one fateful day. What they thought would be one simple choice to bring their future together sooner, became a disaster causing their future to change to bleak and bereft of hope, direction…and each other.

When Mitch falls and hits his head, suddenly his past becomes his present, and his beloved Charlie, a stranger. Charlie’s heart is broken into thousands of pieces as she mourns the loss of her fiancé, who although alive, is dead to her. Will they be able to find their way back to each other, and overcome overwhelming obstacles, or will the domino effect of their choices cause ramifications beyond redemption?

One decision.

One day.

One irrevocable mistake.

I started to read and couldn’t put the book down. I wasn’t surprised as I had had the same experience with the first two books, the storyline wrapped around me and enfolded me thoroughly taking me on the journey.

Reviews: Confessions of a Paris Party Girl - Vicki Lesage

Confessions of a Paris Party Girl by Vicki Lesage Lynn's rating: 4 of 5 stars Vicky needed a change from her mid-western life. Well what's a girl to do except move to Paris. After back-packing through Europe during collage breaks she wanted to try living there. Where better way to continue with her love affair with wine. This book was smart, sassy and fun. Trying to live in a new city with basic French, having to make all new friends and still have the time of your life. Everything from finding her apartment the first time to placing adds for meeting friends, Vicki turns it into an adventure. you feel as if you are on the journey with her. She takes you to places most people will never get to see and gives you such a vivid accounting of them you can picture them in your mind. Some of the situations she finds herself in has your giggling out loud. it is such a wonderful accounting of everyday Paris life. The book was one of the better chick lit books I have read in a long...
