Paranormal Pumpkin Patch Day Seven w/ Giveaway - Jacinta Maree

Then she appeared. Not cocooned in the outline of angel white; no, she wore the darkest pitch of black and had the nastiest snarl on her lips, yet she was my saviour. My Demonic Ghost by Jacinta Maree
Welcome to day seven in our awesome Paranormal Pumpkin Patch Special. We have yet another fabulous author and book that we're spotlighting today - woot - the gorgeous Jacinta Maree's The Reaper's. Book two in her crazy bad-ass My Demonic Ghost series.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Fairies

The Reapers is a considerably different but equally fabulous read from Jacinta Maree. While it has shared characters of book one, Banished Spirits, the book has a different setting and a different feel to it. The books has oodles of palpable tension, enough suspense to keep the reader gripping tightly to their Kindle or paperback and is laced with quick-witted dialogue to keep us thoroughly entertained.

We're introduced to a new protagonist in the form of Jordon. Maree successfully allows Jordon to come to life by shaping him as a character who readers can relate to. This is quite a feat considering the genre. It is easy to appreciate Maree's creative flair. Her narrative flows smoothly and is woven around an array of visual successes. There is truly an art to bringing words off a paper to life, and Maree is gifted with this talent.

The series is developing beautifully. We are still left with unanswered questions, yet I was left feeling satisfied with the development evident in The Reapers. Book three is firmly placed on my please-hurry-up-and-write-it-already list.

Reviews: Confessions of a Paris Party Girl - Vicki Lesage

Confessions of a Paris Party Girl by Vicki Lesage Lynn's rating: 4 of 5 stars Vicky needed a change from her mid-western life. Well what's a girl to do except move to Paris. After back-packing through Europe during collage breaks she wanted to try living there. Where better way to continue with her love affair with wine. This book was smart, sassy and fun. Everything from finding her apartment the first time to placing adds for meeting friends, Vicki turns it into an adventure. you feel as if you are on the journey with her. She takes you to places most people will never get to see and gives you such a vivid accounting of them you can picture them in your mind.
