Review: Blood Skies by Steven Montano

Reviewer: Bex
Rating: 4 out of 5

Blood Skies by Steven Montano is an impressively written, descriptive rich, cross-genre novel. The author’s fantastical plot opened my eyes and kept me gripped, so much so that it was hard to come down after massive build ups of action and tension.

It did take me a few chapters to really warm up the characters, so I wasn’t immediately hooked, but as soon as I got into the character’s mind set and the world that he found himself in, I was engaged and happily so.

The array of characters kept me on my toes. The author successfully created three dimensional characters that were unique and crafted in a way that brought them to life.

If you are looking for a read with traditional evil vamps with a clear thread of horror in the mix, be sure to check out Blood Skies.
