We're very excited about being apart of this awesome tour organised by the amazing Tamara from http://theindieshop.blogspot.com/
I love getting know other bloggers, and today, we have a special treat. We not only have a stop with a blogger, but the blogger that we're interviewing also happens to be an author too! Let's meet Leesia Parriah Champion!
Hi Leesia, this is the first time I’ve paid a
visit to your blog. I’ve a good nose around and have really enjoyed exploring
your posts and getting to know you a little bit better. Thanks for taking the
timeout to answer a few questions. Hopefully, our lovely followers will also be
able to discover a little bit more about you and how awesome both you and your
blog are!
Bex: How would you describe your blog?
Leesia: I would have to describe my blog as a promotion spot for
my books. I am new to blogging, so in my learning process, I have to admit that
I am beginning to like the blog scene.
Bex: So you’re not just any ‘old’ blogger, I
see you’re an author too. Cool! We love our authors on Bex ‘n’ Books. Perhaps
you could tell us a little bit about yourself.
Leesia: . I write paranormal books. I admittedly am a weird
person, and love it. I am currently writing part 2 of Hidden In The Storm. It’s
about vampires, witches, gods and goddesses.
I am also working on a couple of horror stories. My best friend is my
husband. I have one son, who is the joy of my life. One more thing, haha! I am
old fashioned. I still use the turn the handle can opener, and don’t have a lot
of electronic appliances. It makes it a bit harder on us, but it also brings us
together as a family, sharing the chores.
Bex: Your current blog ‘http://authorleesiachampion.blogspot.com.au/’
has been running since October 2012, why did you decide creating a blog was the
way to go?
Leesia: Actually, this is a wee bit funny. The only reason, at
first, that I decided to blog was I was trying to share a link from my
publishing company’s site, and saw that I could share on a blogspot. I didn’t
have a clue as to what I was doing. I accidently set up my blog account. Duh! I
know right.
Bex: How do you organise the running of your
blog. Do you religiously blog once a week, or post whenever the desire takes
you? Why is this?
Leesia: My blog was plain Jane, thank you Ma’am, when I first
started it. I cheated and had my good friend, Katie Shelby do all the
decorating and adding buttons. Now that it has all the stuff for me to easily
run it myself I try to keep it updated as often as possible. I work nights at
an elementary school, and write in the mornings. I try to give myself about an
hour on the internet per day. So I am guilty, I don’t get to blog as often as I
would like.
Bex: If there is one thing that you learned
since you started blogging that you wish you knew when you first started out –
what would that be? And can you talk a little about some mistakes you might
have made as a blogger so that others don’t make the same mistakes?
Leesia: I am going to answer both questions with one answer.
LOL! If you have never blogged before, talk you friends into helping you. I was
at a total and complete loss until Katie saved me. My bad! I am getting better,
on the upside! I wouldn’t change a thing in how I went about doing my blog.
Bex: What are some of your favourite things to
do outside of writing and blogging?
Leesia: This is an easy one. My horse is appropriately named,
Writer’s Block. My husband and I go trail riding as often as we can. We like
spending time together over a glass of wine. I enjoy spending time with family
and friends. My favorite hang- out is at our local bookstore, Riverbank Books
in Sparta, TN.
Bex: What are some blogs you recommend reading?
Leesia: First and foremost I would like to say a big thank you
to, Frankie Rose http://frankierosewrites.com/
, and Tamara http://theindieshop.blogspot.com/
for organizing this awesome blog tour! Then check out~ http://nelycab.blogspot.com

Bex: Is there anything you would like to say to
our followers?
Leesia: I would like to tell my followers that I love each and
every one of you. I am always here for each one of you. I truly believe that
you have to stay real no matter what. I always try to answer any messages or
questions. It may take me a little while to get to it, but I do read each one.
Also I want to say, thank you.

me. Although, it’s rare I sleep passed that time.
Pet peeves? I hate it when people touch me. I have Howie Mandel syndrome. Haha!
What did Santa bring you? A trip for myself and the hubby creature to Carolina Beach, North Carolina.
