Goodreads Synopsis
Severine Blake has seen far too many friends taken down in the crossfires of dating. She devises a precise course of action to protect her heart. The plan is working very well...until she meets Thayer and Macsen.
When the Sloan brothers come into her life, nothing is the same.
Thayer is self-possessed, arrogant and used to getting what he wants. Being near him leaves Severine unsteady and shaken. He makes her question everything.
Macsen contradicts his brother in every way. His calm personality captivates her. Severine is drawn to him instantly.
But Severine quickly discovers that when you want something, that want can turn wicked. Giving in is not always easy, especially when your heart refuses to give up the fight.
What little illusion of love Severine has is soon destroyed. Every option is broken, and the protection she has built around her heart instantly crumbles.
There's just no right way with the Sloan brothers.

I was immediately drawn to the array of characters in Every Which Way by Calia Read. The strong female protagonist, Severine, and her Bffs, plus the gorgeous collection of male hotties were enough to keep me completely focused and absorbed.
Every Which Way was a very difficult book to put down. It was so very readable and engaging. I was caught up with the many twists, the numerous peaks of tension and swept away for the hot and steamy romance. The romance and dramas that go hand in hand with the relationships in this book, were what really drove this book forward. This would not have been possible if Calia Read had not created such believable and impassioned characters.
The main characters are in many ways deeply flawed; it is this that makes them such a challenge and a joy to follow. On the main, I loved Severine's character. The amazing wit and sarcasm was was very well-developed and crafted. Yet there were aspects to her characters that truly frustrated me. Yet, I think the many issues that her character character carried, whilst frustrating were necessary to create a wholeness to her character.
It is no deep secret that I'm not a huge fan of dialogue driven books, and to be honest there's a lot in Every Which Way. But you know what, I absolutely loved the character interactions via the dialogue in Calia Read's book. I was truly absorbed in the moment and felt as though I was one of Severine's BFFs almost immediately. The dialogue flowed so naturally and beautifully, and really helped to create the wonderfully crafted characters in this book, that I became lost in the novel.
Every Which Way is a hot, passion fueled romantic read that will be sure to get your blood pumping. A highly recommended 4.5 fantastic fairies!
