“Do you want some more to eat?” she asks, like she’s asking me an entirely different question. She might have as well said ‘are you ready for sex yet?’. I nod my head from side to side. No more food. The corner of her mouth curls up as she takes my hand and dips my index finger into the remaining spicy sauce left on one of the dishes.
