REVIEWS:

'I read this book during the early hours of a cold dark night and as I read gradually the world became colourful, warm and sunny such was the power of this wonderful fantasy!
I held my breath during the metamorphosis,I licked my lips during the feast and I had to stop myself cheering aloud when the unicorn took to the sky. No, I am not in the target age group of 7+ but add 50 years to that and you will be nearer the mark. In my opinion the quality of the narrative transcends any age barriers. The plot was strong and the sub plot also stood up to close scrutiny. The characters were memorable and adorable.
I will not hesitate in buying the sequel.' - harrasrek

'What a delightful tale! Children of all ages will enjoy this one. My niece came over to my home and had this book with her. While she was out shopping with my girlfriend I glanced through the first few pages and was hooked. As an adult I enjoyed it and I know kids will. My girlfriend often tells me I have a mind of a child. (LOL) She thinks that is an insult. I take it as a compliment. Great book! A must read.' - R.B.W. Culpepper

Synopsis for book two, Alice Parker and the Mind Magician

Alice Parker and the Mind Magician (Alice Parker, #2) Alice Parker has adapted well to her extraordinary new identity and abilities; she is even beginning to enjoy them.

But mysterious things are happening all around her.

People are behaving very strangely. Something or someone is controlling them – but how? Alice confronts a ruthless, relentless villain, and soon discovers his astonishing power. Where is it coming from? What makes him so different?

Disturbingly, the answers to these questions reveal as much about Alice as her sinister enemy.

Nothing, it seems, is coincidence...

  4. Kids are so open to the unbelieveable and fairytales. One of our favorite books was the Junie B Jones series and I would use different voices which the kids loved.

  5. I love to watch a child's face while reading with or to them. You can see every emotion and thought. They have no preconceived notions or ideas, they just hear it and imagine. It is AWESOME!
