Blog Tour Review: The In Between by Catherine Converse

The In Between, by Catherine Converse, is a fast-paced read that offers intrigue, excitement and romance. The main character Adie is immediately likable and a character that readers will easily relate to. Adie is a fascinating young adult, who has had psychic dreams from a young age. When she is offered the chance of working for an underground intelligence agency, to use her dreams for good, she boldly agrees.

It is once she recognises the potential of her ‘gift’ and realises how important it is to the world, that Adie’s life really changes. With the development of a tentative relationship with both Dannika and a dreamy love interest, Adie takes the reader on a thrilling journey of nail biting tension and a captivating mystery, all in the name of catching the bad guy.

The concept for The In Between’s plot is creative. The plot structure is well developed with numerous plot twists and the characters develop in interesting ways.

The In Between is an action packed fantasy YA read suitable for sci-fi, fantasy and romance lovers. A very enjoyable 4 fluttering fairies!

Book Synopsis
Two girls with opposing backgrounds join a secret intelligence agency located deep in the earth, where their psychic dreams are used to prevent murder. As the girls form a unique friendship, they begin to dream about the same serial case, triggering a chaos that spirals through the agency tunnels, and proves the lives they need to save are their own.
